I grew up playing travel soccer in Kitchener, participating in 2 European tours. I played for what was then called the “regional” team and spent a winter training at Sheridan College with the provincial and national U16 teams before being released in the spring. After my youth soccer days were over I played several years in the KDSL with a variety of multicultural teams including Hvrat, Banat, and Benfica. I also played OCAA soccer for both Sir Sanford Fleming and Conestoga Colleges.

My coaching career started at 18 years old when I coached a girls U14 A team in Kitchener. I went through the three level coaching program of the time, then did the Child, Youth and Senior courses again in the late 1990’s before getting my Pre B assessment in 2009. Since then I have coached both house league and travel teams for the last 16 years. I coached OCAA with the Conestoga College Men’s Varsity team for 2 seasons from 2015 to 2017. I was fortunate enough to take the 1996 Cambridge Boys A Team on a 10 day tour of England in 2010. I have been a staff coach with Cambridge Youth Soccer for 6 years and have always enjoyed running sessions for the rep program.   I have always enjoyed pushing players to develop to their full potential while still ensuring the player enjoys coming to training sessions.
